On Memorial Day we hit 2 parades. The 1st was the Broadview Heights parade. It started at 9:00, and after a fire truck, dump truck, Miss Acorn and TONS of candy it was over by 9:15. My kind of parade. I’m pretty sure its the best parade I’ve ever been too. Then Grandma took us to Burger King (can you tell?) for french toast sticks.
After breakfast we made our way to the Brecksville parade. It was more like a “real”parade, with a marching band, floats and tractors. It was quite the shin-dig and Ben loved it. He got lots of candy thrown his way, but after a couple of times he got really smart and just asked the other kids for their candy. And they gave it to him. It was awesome, but we made him give it back……..after we picked out all the bubble gum and vanilla tootsie rolls.
