Nampa visit

We had quite an adventure on our way home for Christmas! We got to stay with Jay's Mom and sister in Nampa for a few days. Ben had so much fun trying to get their Christmas tree and their cats and dog. So many animals to chase and grab! Plus Grandma McKnight let him play in the dishwasher, which is Ben's favorite thing in the world! We had lots of fun, but when we left we got on the Blues ( like the worst mountain pass on our way home) and our car broke down! It started to shake hard when we hit the gas! Luckily Jay made it to Pendleton by coasting down the mountain pass, and when we got to Pendleton their was a Honda Dealership. They couldn't fix it that day cause they didn't have the Acura part, and we were SO blessed to get the LAST rental car in Pendleton to drive home to Poulsbo that day before Snowqualmie pass got like 15 inches of snow and closed. And luckily it was just a CV joint bad in our car, so it wasn't even a big deal in the end. But we got here and we're happy to be done driving for a few weeks! Ben did so good in the car, he just slept and ate snacks and watched baby einstein videos. Merry Christmas soon!
